RECRUITMENT IN EASTERN RAILWAY IN CATEGORY (1) AND CATEGORY (2)
(i) CATEGORY (1): No. of posts - 05 (Five) Grade/Scale of Pay: PB-1, Rs. (5200-20,200/-) + Grade Pay-Rs.2400/- or 2800/- (Corresponding to Level-4 OR Level-5 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Pay Commission)
(ii) CATEGORY (2): No. of posts- 16(Sixteen) Grade/Scale of Pay: PB-1, Rs. (5200-20,200/-) + grade Pay-Rs. 1900/- or 2000/- (Corresponding to Level-2 OR Level-3 of Pay Matrix as per 7th

Required Qualification
Category (1) - Minimum Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Category (2) - Minimum 12th Class (+2 Stage) pass.
Age Limits : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years (as on 01.01.2018).
Application Fee
(i) For all candidates, except those mentioned in sub-para (ii) below, Rs. 500/- only. This Examination Fee is not refundable/transferable/adjustable under any circumstances.
(ii) For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes Rs. 250/- only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the Trial.
Selection Process : The selection will be conducted through trial, assessment of recognized sports achievements as per norms, educational qualifications etc.
